Paul Clowes - A native of Manchester, England, Clowes had a standout career at Clemson University where he led the Tigers to an appearance in the 2015 College Cup final. He will be looking to carve out a place in the United midfield in 2016.
D.C. United selected Clowes with the 32nd overall pick in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft following a trade with Orlando City SC in which United received Targeted Allocation Money and the 32nd pick, and Orlando received the 13th overall pick.
In 2015 Clowes was named a MAC Hermann Semifinalist, NSCAA Second Team All-America, NSCAA First Team All-South Region and First Team All-Atlantic Coast Conference. Was named the ACC Tournament's MVP in 2014.
Chloe Richards - Chloe is from Cornwall England and played for the Cornwall Center of Excellence as a youth. Chloe passed on offers from Chelsea Female Academy and Bristol Academy to get a university degree in the United States and decided to play for the University of North Alabama. At UNA Chloe became an NSCAA First team All American and led ALL University division 2 in scoring back to back seasons 2014,2015, finishing her career with 71 goals and GSC player of the year honors, Chloe also earned academic ALL American honors in 2015. After Chloe's Collegiate playing career she played in the W league for Atlanta Silver Hawks, where she was named player of the week after a hat trick performance. Chloe was quickly offered multiple professional contracts from Finland and Germany and signed a professional contract in the prestigious Germany Bundesliga with SC Sand.
Tom Halsall - Tom enters his first season as the assistant men’s soccer coach at Erskine College. Prior to Erskine, Tom was a four year starting goalkeeper at Lee University in Cleveland, TN. While at Lee, he helped lead the team to the 2014 NCCAA National Championship while being named NCCAA 1st team All-American that season. He was named NCCAA 1st team All-Region in 2-13 and 2015, while also being named NCAA National Player of the Week once and 1st team All-Conference in the Gulf South Conference in 2015. Hasall also played three years at Chattanooga FC NPSL and seven years for Manchester City FC.
